Nima Chhiring Sherpa of Paktanglung rural municipality 6 Lelep Taplejung successfully climbed the Manaslu mountain in Gorkha at the age of 16 years, four months and 18 days.

According to Mingma David Sherpa, the manager of Elite Treks and Expeditions and who wrote his name in the Guinness book of mountain climbing, he is also the youngest teenager to climb Manaslu mountain.

Earlier Sankhuwasabha's  Nimarinji Sherpa set a record by climbing the mountain at the age of 16 years, five months and 12 days. Ming says that his record was broken by a Sherpa from Taplejung of the same zodiac sign . Nima is also Mingma's brother-in-law. 

Nima Chiring climbed Manaslu on Sunday morning, according to Elite Company.
