Meringden Rural Municipality of Taplejung will provide health related, emergency and maternity services even during public holidays including festivals like Dasaintihar.
Village chairman Yuk Han Bir Hangam informed that the management has been arranged to provide services even during the Dasain holidays. There are 6 wards in
rural municipality. Jaiman Langwa, Acting Chief Administrative Officer, said that it was decided to operate emergency and maternity services through health posts in every ward and arrangements were made accordingly. There is Dasain holiday from October 13th to 18th.
The municipality said that the regular vaccination which is held from the 11th to the 14th of every month has been postponed for now and will be conducted after Dasain.
