After being accused of irregularities, the responsibility of the chief and accountant of the Vehicle Testing Office Itahari has been removed.

The government has removed the responsibility of Office Head Roshan Kumar Dev and Accountant Chandra Bahadur Basnet. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has pulled it to the ministry on Sunday after receiving complaints of asking for bribes and unnecessary harassment from service users.

According to ministry sources, it is suspected that Ra  was also embezzled in collusion between the head of office Dev and accountant Basnet . A complaint was filed with the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development from the customer with evidence of irregularities in the office in collusion between the head of the office and the accountant.

The Ministry has formed a 5-member committee under the coordination of Balram Rizal, Head of the Administration Division of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, to investigate the irregularities in the office and the employees involved in it. From that office in Pakali, Itahari, the work of issuing road licenses for public vehicles operating interprovincially, maintaining the standards of vehicles, passing inspections, pollution tests etc. has been going on.
