The families of two deceased people from Sunsari, who were shot by the police during the Gen-G movement, have received government relief.

The Chief District Officer of Sunsari, Dharmendra Kumar Mishra informed that government relief funds have been given to the families of Abhishek Shrestha and Mohan Sardar, who died in police firing during the demonstration in front of Itahari Sub-Metropolitan Office. Relief and compensation money from the federal and state governments have been sent to the bank accounts of the families of both the deceased youths.

According to Mishra, according to the decision of the cabinet meeting, an amount of 1.5 million was received from the Ministry of Home Affairs as relief for the families of the deceased and 5 million as compensation. Koshi arrived at the district administration office for the cost of 1 lakh rupees from the state government. Chief District Officer Mishra informed that the amount received from both agencies has been given to the families of the victims.

23-year-old Shrestha, who lives in Titribana of Ramdhuni municipality of Sunsari and lives in Itahari, and Sardar family of 14 East Gasar house in Itahari, did not receive the government relief money on time.

Meanwhile, Mishra informed that it will take a few days to provide the relief money to the family of Sajan Mewahang of Dharan sub-metropolitan city-5 Amptar Chowr, who died in firing by Thimi police of Bhaktapur on August 24 during the Gen-G movement. Sajan's wife, parents and brother also died two years ago . Mishra says that since there are only two minor sons, their relatives in Elam will be gathered and relief money will be provided.

Sajan was camping in Bhaktapur and raising two minor sons. After his death, those children have been lost. Sajan's Kirat Mewahang Yokhomma collected money and completed the cremation work.
