Most pilgrims reach Pathibhara during August, Kartik, November and February, Chait Baisakh. According to Upper Fedi hoteliers, the number of pilgrims is expected to increase after Dasain. You have to walk five kilometers from Kaflepati to Pathibhara at an altitude of 3,794 meters. You have to walk 10 kilometers on the way back and forth.
There is a 12 km unpaved road from Suketar Airport to Kaflepati. There is a paved road through the headquarters Fungling to Suketar. More pilgrims come to Pathibhara from Terai districts. Dilli Acharya, a priest from Pathibhara, says that since it takes at least two/three days to come back, the number of pilgrims is less from the seventh day of Dasain i.e. Phulpati to Ekadashi.
