Dipen Limbu, who escaped from Jhumka Jail in Sunsari, was arrested in Sankhuwasabha.
Based on a confidential information, a police team of 4 under the command of Assistant Police Inspector Dhak Bahadur Shrestha arrested Limbu while he was sleeping in his room at Jimi Village, Madi Municipality-3 at 5 am on Thursday morning.
The police said that he was arrested and is currently being held at Madi police station.
According to the order of District Court Inaruwa on August 25th, 2080, Limbu, who was sent to Jhumka prison for pre-trial in the duty killing case, escaped from prison and was found hiding at home during the Genji movement on August 24th, DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali said.
