According to the police, 20-year-old Nishan Rai, resident of Dharan sub-metropolitan city-17, was attacked with a sharp weapon by a group. Rai was seriously injured in the incident. On Sunday night, while he was sleeping in his own house, a group on a motorcycle attacked him. Police have arrested Obin Rai of Sanglan Dharan-17 in the incident.

According to the police, Nishan's stomach, back, hips, elbows, wrists and hands are seriously injured. He is being treated at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.

On Sunday afternoon, 22-year-old Subas Rai, who was sitting in his own house in Dharan-17 Dadaghopa, was shot by a 23-year-old youth known by the nickname 'Chacha' of Dharan-17. The police are continuing to investigate who shot him. According to the police, Subas has injuries on both his arms and waist. He is also being treated at BP Foundation.
