A road blocked by a landslide due to rain in Sakela rural municipality has been opened. Traffic has been resumed after the blocking of landslides on the Diktel-Sapsukhola-Manevnjang-Panchdhare road has been removed.
According to Rural Municipality President Ravi Prakash Rai, the road was opened after the landslide that fell from above the road was removed in the Chumlung area of Sakela Rural Municipality-5 Mattim.
Under the leadership of Village Chairman Rai, the people's representatives, employees and village officials have removed the landslide by using dozers and tractors.
'The village municipality has been conducting emergency infrastructure services to solve the road problems within its area' Rai said - 'The village municipality has been regularly repairing roads in places where roads have been washed away due to rain, vehicles stuck due to mudslides, traffic problems due to landslides, potholes and hazards.'
