The body of 21-year-old Praveen Kulung of Sankhuwasabha, Silichong Rural Municipality-3, who died during the demonstration of the Gen-G movement in Kathmandu on August 23 and 24, could not be brought to the district on Tuesday due to bad weather.

The Chief District Officer of Sankhuwa Sabha Srijan Thapaliya informed that the body was brought to Sankhuwa Sabha by helicopter of the Nepali Army, but the body was stopped in Biratnagar due to bad weather.

Relatives have said that after the weather clears, the body will be brought to the district on Wednesday and is now kept in Biratnagar. 

Kulung's funeral was scheduled to be held on Tuesday at Lakuwa in Silichong, but the program was postponed due to bad weather.
