After the vandalism and arson of the office during the Genji movement, Itahari sub-metropolitan has completed the meeting of the executive committee sitting on the floor.

Eight days after the fire in the office of the Deputy Metropolitan Municipality. Executive meeting was held on Tuesday.

Executive members along with city chief Hemkarn Paudel, deputy chief Sangita Chaudhary sat on the floor and finished the meeting in the courtyard of the sub-metropolitan city.

During the movement of Genji on August 23 and 24, the sub-metropolitan  Protesters set fire to the office. The office was destroyed by fire  is . During the protest, the building where the city chief Paudel lived was reduced to ashes. Paudele's house was also set on fire during the demonstration.

During the protest, two protestors were killed by police firing in Itahari .
