Morang District Administration Office has issued a curfew order for Tuesday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm in order to control the ongoing Jenji demonstration and the unusual situation caused by it in Biratnagar.

In the order issued by Chief District Officer (CDO) Indradev Yadav, it has been mentioned that curfew is necessary to maintain public safety, peace and order.

The meeting of the District Security Committee held earlier has decided to impose a curfew on suspicion of anti-social and violent activities at various places within the Biratnagar Metropolitan City. The District Administration Office has appealed to the public not to move unnecessarily during the curfew period and to provide necessary assistance to the security personnel.

Curfew will be enforced in areas from East Nepal Rastra Bank to West Koshi Hospital Chowk and North Biratnagar Jaycees Hall to South Gaurav Hospital. Curfew has been issued on all parts of the Koshi highway north and south,

Shantinagar, Birtol Chowk, Birtol Mandir, Shantinagar Chowk, areas around the state chief office and state assembly building

and within 200 meters of the state chief's residence, and around 200 meters of the integrated check post.
