A school principal has been arrested by the police for raping a 14-year-old girl.
Yuvraj Shrestha, the 47-year-old headmaster of Himshikhar Community Boarding School in Belka Municipality-2, Kanchenjunga, was arrested, informed SP Rajan Chapagain, District Police Office, Udaipur.
According to him, the sister-in-law of the victim girl filed a complaint at the local police office Rampur Thoksila. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Shrestha and started an investigation.
According to the victim's statement, the headmaster Shrestha proposed to the girl. After the proposal was rejected, the victim's brother-in-law has alleged that he forced the school boy to the office room last Saturday morning in the name of tuition.
