Police Assistant Inspector (Asai) Indra Bhujel died on Friday after falling down while going on patrol from the District Police Office towards the headquarters Fungling.

According to the District Police Office, even though he was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state, his treatment was not possible. 

45-year-old Bhujel, who lives in Jhapa Dhulabari, was working in the district police office. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Veda Prasad Gautam, Taplejung police chief, a heart attack is suspected. But he said that the reason can be said only after the doctor's report.
