Farmers of Bhojpur enjoying commercial dragon farming

Farmers of the district have been attracted to dragon farming due to lack of irrigation and problems in planting crops due to monkeys. Farmer Shambhu Nepal said that he is getting a good income from dragon food cultivation in 42 plants in Temkemaiung rural municipality-8 Gogane Salleni.

Farmers in Nepal, who have started agricultural work by registering Danabot fruit and agricultural farms on land that has been disputed for years, said that they earn between 12 to 14 lakhs annually. After two years of planting, the yield is obtained. He complains that market management is not easy.

Farmer Hari Gautam said that the arable land was becoming barren after the monkeys did not allow the crops to enter. "That's why there is increasing attraction in the district towards fruits and cash crops like dragon fruit, lemon, timur and macadamia nut which are not eaten by monkeys," he said.

If you can do commercial farming on your own land, he is of the opinion that you can earn the money you earn in foreign employment. Kisan Gautam insists that the local, state and federal governments should implement special programs to make good use of barren land.
