According to police, 19-year-old Jeevan Katuwal, resident of Sidingwa Rural Municipality-3, Taplejung District, was arrested on the charge of raping a minor girl in Hokse located in Buddhashanti Rural Municipality-1.
According to the police, the incident happened on the night of June 14. It is said that the arrest was made based on the complaint filed by the victim girl's younger mother last Monday. The police also said that further investigation is going on regarding the incident.
