Two people from Kachankawal have been arrested for taking a 16-year-old girl to the forest and raping her.
Two men, 71-year-old Khatri of Kachankawal Rural Municipality and 55-year-old Tamang Thar of the same place, were arrested by the police on rape charges.
It is alleged that they took the local Pathibhara community forest and forced the minor by showing fear, fear and terror. According to the Jhapa Police, the incident took place last Thursday (5th) evening. After the
incident, the minor's mother came to the district police office and lodged a complaint on Sunday. After the complaint, the police arrested Paudel and Tamang.
