One of the group who cheated the common people by luring them to earn good profits by doing business in partnership has been arrested.
According to Panchthar police, Krishna Murmu alias Amit Mahato, who lives in Rangeli Municipality-4 of Morang, was arrested. It is said that he was arrested by District Police Office Panchthar with the help of Chitwan Police.
Murmu, in collusion with Jog Bahadur Tharu of Nawalparasi and Bachchu Gurung, cheated Chakraraj Ramtel of Falgunand-2 by showing him the temptation to earn profit from land transactions, dollar transactions and business business in partnership with Rs 20 lakh fraud.
Murmu, who was brought to Panchthar after the arrest, has been detained and investigation has been started, as well as continuing the search for Tharu and Gurung involved in the fraud, District Police Office Panchthar Information Officer Police Inspector Rupesh Tamang said.
