Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality has banned entry to the religious and tourist Kalika Bhagwati Temple and Majhuwagadhi area after 7 pm. Entry was banned from 1st of August after crowding and commotion started till late at night.

Dinesh Kumar Ghimire, spokesperson of Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality, said that due to the need to set a certain time for entering the religious and tourist areas, entry from the main entrance of Hatdada is prohibited after 7 pm.

"On the basis of the meeting held on August 1st with the chiefs of Cidio and the security agencies, entry is prohibited after 7 pm," Ghimire said, "if any person had entered before the specified time, 8:30 pm 

Municipality has invested crores in the area for tourism development.
