The doctor of City Hospital Beltar was attacked. On Saturday night, Birendra Rai of Belka municipality-9 attacked Shivshankar Shah, a 'health assistant' working in the hospital.

Mother Mahila Kumari Rai was admitted to the hospital on Saturday evening with burning problem and her son Birendra attacked the doctor saying that the doctor was negligent in the treatment.  The hospital issued a statement about the

incident on Sunday, saying that Rai assaulted the doctor, abused the doctor and vandalized the physical structure of the hospital.

While the patient's son was being treated in the emergency ward, the hospital has requested the concerned authorities to take action against the doctors who were treating them using scissors, stones and other tools.

The hospital has warned that all services of the hospital will be closed until the culprits are brought to justice.
