District Police Office of Khotang has arrested a man on the charge of rape and started investigation. The victim's health has been examined and handed over to relatives.
A 37-year-old man from Ambote in Sapteshwar, Kepilasgarhi Rural Municipality-5 has been arrested on the charge of raping a 30-year-old woman.
The man was arrested on Friday on the charge of raping a woman who was sleeping in her own home around 2:30 on Thursday night.
According to Inspector Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Khotang, the investigation has been started by detaining the men of Rai tribe.
