Two people have been remanded in custody on charges of raping minors in separate incidents. According to Police Inspector Ram Kumar Lamichhane, Information Officer of Sankhuwasabha District Police Office, 22-year-old Sabir Mian of Sunsari Inruwa Municipality-10, Jalpapur and 25-year-old Bikas Rai of Sankhuwasabha Silichong Rural Municipality-3 will be remanded in custody.

According to the police, Sabir Mian has been accused of feeding a 16-year-old girl from Sindhulimadi, who has been missing since June 26, into an unconscious state by mixing narcotic substances in her water on the pretext of Lalife.

He was arrested on July 2 based on the complaint of the victim. Likewise, it is alleged that Vikas Rai threatened and forced a 13-year-old girl from Sankhuwasabha on July 2. According to the police, he was arrested on July 4 based on the complaint of the victim.

After the investigation, both were submitted to Sankhuwasabha District Court, Chainpur. According to the police, after the order of the court on 28th of July, they were sent to the district prison office, Khandbari, for remand.
