Dharmendra, the 11-year-old son of Indra Prasai of Damak-10 Jahda, died after being swept away by the river. He was washed away while swimming in the local bear pond this morning.

According to Police Inspector Naveen Rai, after half an hour of drowning, he was rescued and taken to Nims Hospital in Damak, where doctors declared him dead.
