Madhyapahari Lokmarg blocked by landslides was opened after about 10 hours.

On Monday morning, due to a landslide in Halesi Tuwachung municipality-3 Chasmitar, the blocked Madhyapahari public road was opened at 6:30 in the evening.

According to Halesi Tuwachung municipality spokesperson Kamal Giri, the landslide that occurred at 8:10 in the morning opened after three dozers removed it. According to Giri, the backloader of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality and Madhyapahari Lokmarg and excavator of Fewa Construction removed the landslide.

The police and locals of Halesi area police office gathered to remove the landslide. After the landslide blocked the road, around 150 vehicles going to and from Kathmandu and Terai were stuck all day. Giri said that 16 patients and a thousand passengers, including a car carrying a dead body, were stranded when the traffic was blocked.
