The Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality of the district where the world's highest peak Mount Everest is located has started an integrated service camp in Kathmandu.
96 people have taken service in the camp that started in Chuchchepati on Sunday alone.
Looking at the high Himalayan region and the geographical difficulty, the municipality went to the same place for the citizens in Kathmandu and said that the chairman of the municipality, Mingma Chiri Sherpa, said. On the first day of the camp, 62 people renewed social security allowance cards, 21 people registered incidents and 13 people took services related to national identity cards, informed Navraj Gautam, the chief administrative officer of the village. According to him, since it is difficult to provide direct service to the villages located in the high Himalayas during the rainy season, the integrated service has been started to provide convenience to the citizens who are temporarily living in Kathmandu.
Based on the demand and needs of the citizens, the rural municipality has said that such services will be expanded further in the future. People's representatives and employees of all 5 wards of the rural municipality have reached Kathmandu to conduct camps targeting the citizens living in Kathmandu due to various constraints such as tourism business, other business business, medical treatment etc.
