A school van carrying students has met with an accident in Mechinagar. The vehicle of Parijat Public School in Mechinagar-9 Khuttidangi met with an accident at 9:30 this morning. Eighteen students were injured in the accident.
The van carrying the students fell into the local Timai Kholsi. The injured student was rescued with the help of locals and immediately sent to Amda Mechi Hospital in Dhulabari.
In which six injured students including the driver have been sent to B&C Hospital in Birtamod for further treatment, the police informed. Other students are currently being treated.
