The municipality has provided services to around 20 percent of the population who are temporarily living in Kathmandu as a permanent address. According to the National Census 2078, the population of the municipality is 25,668. . According to that, the municipality has reached Kathmandu to provide services to 5,000 service users in Kathmandu.
The service camp started from 11th July was fixed till 13th. But realizing that there are still customers, the municipality added 1 day, said Sherpa, the mayor of the municipality. He said that during the rainy season, the government took care of the problems of the citizens and reached Kathmandu and provided services.
All public representatives and employees of the municipality and all 11 wards have reached Kathmandu to serve. Tukti Sherpa, chief administrative officer, said that by setting up a temporary office in a party palace in Buddh, all work related to registration, all recommendations given by the municipality and work related to service delivery were done.
