Rani bridge over the Tamor River, which connects Ward No. 5 Tapethok and Ward No. 6 Lelep of Paktanglung rural municipality in the northern region from the headquarters of Fungling, has washed away.
This bridge was built by Remit Hydropower Company four years ago at a cost of around five crore rupees. According to Mukund Pokhrel, side in charge of Remit Hydro, there was a huge flood in the river this morning.

Rajan Limbu, Chairman of the Rural Municipality informed that the inflow and outflow above the Rani Bridge was blocked after the incessant rains flooded the Hallok Simbuwa river, the flow of the Tamor river increased and the north-south road Rani Bridge was washed away.
Ward No. 6 Lelep Sangu Bagar from the side of Phangbari School where last year's landslide happened again this time, Chairman Limbu has informed. He said that there has been no human loss in this area so far.
