A person who killed Parshuram Vick of Bhojpur Zarayotar-4 and ran away has been arrested after 21 years. According to the District Police Office, Shamser Bahadur Tamang of Chainpur Municipality-9 has been arrested.
Police Inspector Ramkumar Lamichhane said that Tamang, who had been hiding in various places after killing, was arrested based on a special information that he had been hiding in the village house for a few days.
He was arrested by a police team deployed from Area Police Office Chainpur, Sankhuwasabha. According to the judgment of the Appellate Court Dhankuta dated 17th June 2069, he was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment and was absconding after his arrest and was produced in Sankhuwasabha District Court, Chainpur.
On Monday, he has been sent to the prison office Khandbari for payment of imprisonment.
