Two children have died while swimming in the Tengra River in Itahari. They died while swimming on Sunday afternoon behind Maya house located in Itahari-3.
8-year-old Dipsan Chaudhary of Itahari-3 Kalyan Chowk who was rescued in a critical condition and sent to the hospital for treatment, and 11-year-old Trivas Limbu, who was living with a relative at Sankhuwasabha Chainpur Ghar, Itahari-2, have died.
Both of them were taken to Vedanta Hospital in Itahari for treatment. After the doctor said that the treatment was not possible, the relatives took him to Birat Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar.
The doctors of the teaching hospital declared them dead. Itahari, the local police office, has started further investigation of the
incident. .
