A 21-year-old youth has been killed in Eelam. Prakash Chapagai, a resident of Maizogmai rural municipality-2 in Suryodaya municipality ward number 1 of the district, was killed.
Prakash went to his in-laws house with his brother Niroj Chapagai. At that time, a fight broke out with 33-year-old Kiran Sherpa of Suryodaya-1, Shirise, District Police Office Ilam said.
According to the police, a sharp weapon was shot at the local Kazi Tamang during a fight at his house. Prakash died on the spot when the weapon hit him.
His brother Niroz also suffered serious injuries on his stomach from a sharp weapon, so Fikkal was sent for treatment, police said. After the incident, Sherpa was arrested by the police and further investigation into the incident was started.
