Potatoes produced by Jantedhunga Rural Municipality have been started to be sold. After the production of potatoes planted in about 60 plants in Bhanjyangkhark of the village-4 Dambarkhushiwalaya, the sale has been started.

According to village head Khem Bahadur Khadka, 1500 kg has been sold till Saturday. Khadka said that it is being sold from Koselighar in Chisapani at the rate of 55 rupees per kg. Khadka says that half of the 6,000 kg produced will be sold and half will be kept as seeds. Potatoes were cultivated in 11 plantations under the name of the rural municipality located in Bhanjyangkharch and 60 plantations that were made public.

Khadka said that the potatoes that should have been planted in January were started on the 15th of February, so they did not grow as much as expected. "It was a little late to plant potatoes," Khadka said, "They were planted from February 15th, but they were planted in January, so there was no production." "We will continue potato farming this year too," said Rai. Two buffaloes have also been purchased by spending about three lakhs for fertilizers. Khadka says that preparations are being made to plant bitter gourd in the place where potatoes are planted.

The rural municipality has said that the cultivation was done for the purpose of agricultural production, Raithane crop promotion and job creation.
