A teenager died on Saturday afternoon while swimming in Dhapatal, Chaubise rural municipality-2 of Dhankuta. According to the police, 17-year-old Abhishek Ale Magar of Jit Bahadur Ale Magar, a resident of Choubise-1 Fedapjung, was killed.
He drowned while swimming at 3:30 pm. District Police Spokesperson DSP Omprakash Khanal said that he was found dead at 5 pm after immediate search.
Security personnel and locals deployed from the local police office and police station Mudhebas searched. Legal process and investigation is going on regarding the incident.
