Sancharkarmi Sanchar Sahakari Sanstha Limited has given honors and awards to four journalists on the occasion of its 14th foundation day.

In a special program held on Friday, the association honored active journalists in various fields. The Torendra-Indira Press Freedom Award worth Rs 51,000 has been awarded to Subas Dhakal, the founding president of the Nepal Journalist Federation Morang and the editor-in-chief of 'Nepal Search.com' and former Kantipur journalist. 

The Omprakash Goyal Economic Journalism Award worth Rs 50,000 has been awarded to Bandhu Pokharel, the former president of Federation of Morang and editor of 'Udghosh Daily.com'.

Member Chandralal-Durgadevi Dahal communication labor award of 21 thousand rupees has been awarded to Anil Shrestha, Biratnagar correspondent of 'Blast Dainik'.

The Meenadevi Shrestha Women Journalist Encouragement Award of Rs 10,000 has been awarded to Roma Dahal, desk editor of 'Koshi Sandesh.com' online.
