Two people died and two others were seriously injured when a motorcycle and a scooter collided in Bahradashi.
Today at around 3:30 p.m., a motorcycle number BR 37 A Z 6440 was coming from the opposite direction on the inner road section of Bahradashi Rural Municipality-1 Khairbari. 1-01-016 P 9270 scooter collided with each other and the accident happened.
60-year-old Shri Prasad Rajvanshi of Kachankawal Rural Municipality-3 and motorcycle driver (identity yet to be revealed) who were injured in the accident were immediately taken to Bhadrapur Provincial Hospital for treatment. However, Jhapa police said that both died during the treatment.
Rajvanshi's daughter-in-law Urmila Rajvanshi, 27 years old, and her 3-year-old son Ayush Rajvanshi were seriously injured. It is said that they have been sent to B&C Hospital Birtamod for further treatment. The condition of both the injured is serious. According to the district police, a team led by a police inspector from the district police office, Jhapa, has been deployed to carry out further investigation and legal proceedings regarding the
incident.
