The Panchthar-Taplejung road section under the Mechi highway, which was blocked since Tuesday evening, has been opened since 9 am on Wednesday. Mishra said that after being unable to work on Tuesday due to floods, the transport was brought into operation from 4 o'clock on Wednesday morning. The flow of water in Hewa Khola has decreased since morning. When there is a big flood, the hydropowers in the upper part of this river will take all the water to the river and when the flood subsides, it will return to the hydropower, so the water in the river will rise and fall. The river has receded since Wednesday morning after Hydropower returned the water.

Preparations are also being made to place penstock pipes here. Preparations have been made to place four penstock pipes with the help of Hydropower. For this purpose, the work of making a wire mesh structure was started from Tuesday. However, Mishra said that the flood destroyed all those structures. As the construction of the Bely Bridge is uncertain, preparations have been made to keep a penstock here for regular traffic operations. Mishra said that there is a plan to put the penstock in a week if the rain decreases and the river does not flood. After placing the penstock, preparations have been made to remove the hume pipe placed in the diversion.
