One person died when his motorcycle was washed away by the flood that came in Sikhukhola along with heavy rain.
Mingmar Tamang of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality 8 Ranem who was riding a motorcycle died when the flood occurred in Sikhukhola on the border of Thulung Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 and Ward No. 6.
36-year-old Tamang died yesterday evening due to flood in Sikhukhola while he was returning home from a mobile shop in Nele. DSP Manojit Kuwan of District Police Office Solukhumbu informed that the body of Tamang, who was missing since yesterday evening, was found in the river 1 km below the road in the morning. DSP Kuwan said that Tamang's motorcycle was found 500 meters below and his body was buried 1 km below. According to the police, they are now collecting bail at the scene of the incident.
