A young man was found dead under the broken bridge of the Triyuga River in Chaudandigadi Municipality-5 of Udaipur. 30-year-old Suraj Rai of Kalikhola, Chaudandigadi Municipality-6, who went to bathe in the Triyuga river on Monday, was found dead on Tuesday.
Rai, who had gone to bathe in the Triyuga river with his friends, drowned in the river and disappeared. DSP Kedarman Dong, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Udaipur, said that his body was found drowned under the slab of the river during a search by Nepal Police, Armed Police Force diving team and locals.
The police said that the body was found under the slab of the broken bridge and was found in a place that looks like a big hole and was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. As soon as the information was received that the young man had drowned and disappeared, the local police office Beltar and armed police teams were mobilized and intensified the search from Monday.
