The bodies of four members of the same family who were murdered in Ramprasad Rai Rural Municipality-1 of Bhojpur on Saturday night have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for post-mortem.
Due to technical problems in District Hospital Bhojpur, their bodies were sent to Dharan for post-mortem. Chief District Officer Suresh Panthi said their autopsy will be conducted on Monday.
The place of the incident is about 32 km away from the headquarters Bhojpur. Rajendra Rai, who was involved in the murder, was found injured and is being treated at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.
According to the police, Rajendra killed father-in-law 68-year-old Bel Bahadur Giri, mother-in-law 45-year-old Manju, wife 16-year-old Manisha And killed 9-year-old Salo Sapan using a sharp weapon. After the murder, he called the police and reported it himself.
Rajendra has been saying that after his mother-in-law attacked him with a knife, he snatched it and killed everyone.
