More than half of the people's representatives were absent in the ninth district assembly of District Coordination Committee Panchthar.

There are eight local levels in the district, one municipality and seven rural municipalities. In the District Assembly, only 7 people participated out of 16 people's representatives who were elected from the local level, namely the mayor, vice president and vice president. In the

meeting, Mayor Mitra Prasad Kafle and Deputy Mayor Radhakrishna Neupane of Fidim municipality were present. On the part of the rural municipality, both the chairman and the vice-chairman participated only from Hillihang.

Similarly, the chairman and vice-chairman from Yangwarak, Falgunand and Kummayak Rural Municipality did not participate.

Phalelung Vice President Mahendrahang Zawegu, Khadga Bahadur Sambahamfe of Tumwewa, Santkumar Serma of Miklajung and Sumitra Upreti of Hilihang participated in the meeting.

In the District Assembly, there will be 25 members including the head and deputy head of the village and 16 and 9 of the district coordination committee.

Fidim first, Miklajung last

District Coordination Committee Panchthar honored the best Fidim municipality based on financial governance risk assessment with a letter of appreciation on the occasion of District Assembly.

Municipality has become the first in the district with 80 points in the financial governance risk assessment according to the federal government standards. On the side of

rural municipality, Falgunand and Phalelung scored the same 79 points while Miklajung ranked last with 64 points. The rural municipalities were also honored with letters of appreciation.
