Khandbari City Hospital with a capacity of 15 beds has been inaugurated in Manebhanjyang, Khandbari Municipality-3. According to the concept of one local level, one hospital, the city hospital was announced on Wednesday by upgrading the health post in Pam.

After the construction of the building was completed at a cost of 3 crore 73 lakh 51 thousand rupees, the former health minister of Koshi province Rajendra Karki, city chief Mahesh Thapalia, Prazia Divyaraj Pokharel and others inaugurated the hospital during a program.

Mayor Thapalia said that doctors and medical officers will be serving in the city hospital from July. He said that he will manage the expenses for the operation of the hospital. It will be easy to treat the patients of ward number 7, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 11 of Khandbari in the city hospital.

Former Health Minister and State MP of Sankhuwasabha Rajendra Karki said that he will help for the materials needed for the hospital. He said that all levels of citizens should get specialist health services.  He said that he would demand from the state government for providing
