After the infection of covid-19 started increasing, vaccination against it has been started in Khotang. After the outbreak of infection started to increase across the country, additional booster Pfizer vaccinations against Covid-19 have been started in Diktel from Sunday.
District Coordination Committee and Saraswati Mavi have been given Pfizer vaccination. According to Khemraj Acharya, Head of the Health Branch of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality, women 21 and men 42 people of 21 and 418 people of Saraswati Mavi Diktel including 212 women and 164 men have been vaccinated. Acharya said that vaccination will be given in Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadi by 20th June.
Jeevan Choulagain, head of District Health Office Khotang, said that vaccination program will be conducted in Halesi Tuwachung Municipality from June 17 to 20. Choulagai said that in the first phase, 20,000 people of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality and Halesi Tuwachung Municipality of the district are planned to be vaccinated. "In the first phase, a plan has been made to vaccinate 20,000 people in two municipalities," he said.
