Due to incessant rain, the road has been blocked in Makalu rural municipality-5 Faxinda section under Koshi highway. According to the police, a landslide occurred near the Phakre river bridge due to rain on Tuesday morning.

Khandbari-Gola road section has been blocked due to landslides. According to North-South Koshi Road Project, the landslide is being removed. Due to the landslide, small and big vehicles leaving Khandbari for Bhotkhola and coming from Bhotkhola to Khandbari could not cross.
