An old man missing for 14 days has been found dead. 70-year-old Lal Bahadur Karki of Diprung Chuichumma Rural Municipality-6 Chitapokhari Dhiplung was found dead on Tuesday morning.

According to Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of the District Police Office, Khotang, Karki, who was walking from home on May 28, was found in the Dhansar river around 9 am.

After he did not return home, his body was found in a decomposed state during the search. 

District Police Office Khotang Bazar Police Inspector Mohan Kumar Bohra said that the body is being brought to the district hospital for post-mortem.
