The newly constructed building of District Hospital Sankhuwasabha was handed over on Monday. A building with a capacity of 50 beds has been handed over to the hospital administration of Dhankuta's intensive urban and building construction project at a cost of 270,278,000.

Vikoi/Swaminarayan/Arshiwad Construction Company took over the construction on 22 June 2075. Since there is no building with facilities, the hospital has been providing services from the old building. The construction of the building, which was supposed to be completed on June 22, 2078, has been completed after 4 years.

The construction of the building was stopped for two years due to technical reasons. There are 3 blocks in the newly constructed building of 1641 square meters. Suman Mishra, the project head, during a program, Jesus head and hospital management committee chairman Suman Shakya and emergency chief Dr. Handed over to Santosh Dev.

The hospital administration said that it will start service from the new building only from next July.
