Taxpayer Service Office Khandbari has collected more than 31 million tax revenue in 11 months of this financial year.

According to the tax office, more than 160 crores of revenue has yet to be collected in the fine waiver program organized by the Internal Revenue Department in Khandbari on Friday. Director of the Internal Revenue Office, Vasudev Paudel, said that interest and fines have been waived until the end of December 2082 for non-payment of taxes due to various reasons.

The Internal Revenue Office has said that it has provided exemptions to taxpayers in the following topics: rent of transport vehicles, retirement contributions, taxes on social organizations, fines for value added tax, fines for excise duties, non-submission of income statements, etc. Only in Sankhuwasabha, more than 25,000 businessmen are involved in taxes.
