A dead body of a man was found on the bank of Arkam river in Garigut of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-7 Mahadevasthan.

The body of a 45-year-old man was found around 9 a.m. on Friday.

After reporting that the body was found by the locals, a team under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Kaluman Danuwar of Halesi Area Police Office and a team under the command of Additional Police Inspector Hemant Rai reached the spot and sent the body to the District Hospital Diktel, said Sushant Mishra, Information Officer of District Police Office Khotang .

"Since the body could not be identified, the post-mortem could not be done," he said.
