Tuberculosis has been tested and identified for the first time in Panchthar using Artificial Intelligence (AI) method.

246 citizens have been tested for tuberculosis in the project of Fidim Municipality.  During the examination of so many citizens, 6 suspected patients were found. Omprakash Yadav, head of the municipality's health branch, said that tuberculosis was confirmed in one person.

The municipality in collaboration with the Regional Health Directorate Dhankuta conducted the tuberculosis test for the first time in the district using the AI ​​method. Dr. Amit Shah, radiographer inspector of Dhankuta District Hospital, who came for the test, said that this method can confirm whether the patient has tuberculosis within a minute.

Re-examination of 6 people who were found suspicious during testing by AI method  City chief Mitraprasad Kafle said. According to him, the free treatment of one person diagnosed with the disease in the test has been started since Tuesday.
