A wild elephant was found dead near Tiring in Mechinagar-1 of Jhapa. According to the Division Forest Office, Jhapa, the female elephant, which has not reached full maturity, was found dead in the corn field.

The head of the forest office, Bharat Babu Shrestha, said that the wild elephant was found dead and the team of the division forest office had reached the spot. According to him, it is estimated that the elephant may have died today or yesterday.
