A husband and wife died on Saturday due to electrocution while fishing in the Madeli River located in Sundarharaincha Municipality-7 of Morang.
District Police Office spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Kopila Chundal informed that local 58-year-old Purna Bahadur Limbu and his wife Phoolmaya Limbu, 52, died. He informed that the preliminary investigation revealed that both people died on the spot due to electrocution while fishing by passing electricity under the bridge of Madeli river.
