Fidim municipality has given training to the farmers here to repair the tools and equipment used in agriculture.

The municipality has organized a training to give basic knowledge to repair parts of mini tiller, grass cutting arc cutter and sprayer machine, and combine parts used in agriculture.

17 farmers and three representatives from different villages of 14 wards were given seven days of training, according to the Agricultural, Animal, Poultry and Fisheries Development Branch of the municipality.

The farmers had been demanding for training because the tools, devices and equipment distributed to the farmers by the municipality could not be repaired due to the lack of Kaligarh.

Mayor Mitra Prasad Kafle said that this training was organized based on the demand of the farmers. Kafle's comment was that if farmers apply the skills learned in training, they can become employed and self-employed.

participant Krishna Prasad Adhikari of Fidim 11 commented that the training was useful and practical. Trainer Teknath Kafle said that 1 day of theoretical and 6 days of practical knowledge was provided in the

training.

Fidim municipality has prioritized agriculture and animal husbandry.

Fidim has purchased agricultural implements and tools worth 36 million rupees to distribute to farmers this year.
